Platforms.Vet is where veterinary practices search, compare and review the software that runs their practice, from PIMS to payments, and where vendors turn that intent into qualified leads.

With more than 21 years of providing IT to veterinary practices, Veterinary IT Services set out to give the profession one independent place to choose its software.
Practices browse every category of veterinary software, read verified reviews from other practices and request demos directly, while vendors claim their listing, publish a full product page and see exactly how buyers engage with it.
A two-sided marketplace only works if both sides trust it. Practices needed reviews they could rely on and a ranking nobody could buy. Vendors needed fair treatment when a review was harsh, real leads rather than page views, and proof of what their listing was worth. Behind that sat the practical work: verifying vendors before they went live, letting vendor teams manage their own products, protecting accounts, and keeping hundreds of listings, categories and reviews organised and searchable.
We built Platforms.Vet as a Next.js and MongoDB platform with separate experiences for practices, vendors, vendor team members and administrators. New vendors are verified and approved before they appear. Every product gets a rich page with an overview, media gallery, pricing, features, integrations and reviews. Reviews of three stars and above publish immediately; lower ratings are held for a short moderation window so the vendor can respond, then publish automatically, which keeps the platform fair without hiding criticism. Demo requests flow straight into a vendor lead pipeline, and a vendor dashboard reports views, clicks, searches, demo requests and reviews for every product.

Instant search across products, companies and categories, with filters for category, region, practice type and rating.
Overview, media, pricing, features, integrations and verified reviews, with vendors able to reply to every review.
Positive reviews publish instantly; low ratings get a short review window, then go live automatically. No pay-to-win ranking.
Practices request a demo in one step; vendors work each lead from new to won or lost in their dashboard, with email alerts.
Page views, clicks, searches, demo requests and review activity for every product, filtered over time.
The platform runs on Next.js with React and Tailwind, backed by MongoDB, with a Strapi CMS so the marketing team can edit homepage content without a release. Media and review attachments are stored on DigitalOcean Spaces, transactional email goes through SMTP2GO, and consultations are booked through HubSpot. Accounts are protected with Google and Microsoft sign-in, reCAPTCHA on registration, email codes for new devices and rate limiting, and every change ships through a GitHub Actions pipeline.
Platforms.Vet is live, with practices comparing products across every category of veterinary software, and is trusted by teams at practices including Luca Veterinary Care, Broadway Veterinary Group and Animal House Veterinary Services.
